I love finding book treasures! We are definitely not out of the picture book stage of life and I'm perfectly fine with that!
But I'm also really enjoying the next book stage as well. Short, illustrated chapter books.
I've shared of a few of our other favorite illustrated chapter books and the Gus and Grandpa series is another! 🤍
We have read most of the series and I can definitely recommend them! (although, there is one about Halloween)
I love the family dynamics in the stories and the way this series portrays a grandfather figure. I want my boys to learn to respect and appreciate relationships with older folks and also recognize the many lessons we can all learn from them!
