Question: What are your favorite Bible storybooks?

Well, today I'm sharing them with you guys!

First of all, this is my criteria for favorite Bible Story Books:

• Stays true to the Word of God.

• Does not dumb down the story or change the story to make them silly.

I think it's important to introduce our kids to the Bible, as it is written.

This is a perfect way to introduce Bible stories to your kids. The illustrations are colorful and the sentences are short. It is very easy to understand.

• 101 Favorite Stories

These Bible stories are short and sweet. There is a memory verse for each story and discussion questions at the end.

This book is more of a devotional style. The sections are longer and take you a little deeper. "I Am" explores the names of God by introducing them in a Bible story. There are memory verses, questions, explanations, and a short prayer at the end.

* One note: this one does take a few liberties with the dialogue. It stays true to the Bible but switches some sentences to newer English.

And last, but not least, my favorite Bible storybook!

First of all, the illustrations are gorgeous! They remind you of an oil painting and make you feel like you could step right into the Bible story.

The text is easy to understand, keeps running suspense about what could happen next, and also gives you some questions at the end for discussion.

This book follows only the life of Jesus and doesn't cover the rest of the Bible.
